Aquarium Annex Dallas, Texas
The Aquarium Annex building was built in 1936 for the Texas Centennial Exposition. Working from original drawings and black and white photographs, the construction documents were put together to include a restoration of the exterior skin, stabilization of a major load-bearing wall and the rehabilitation of the interior. The facility was the first building to be restored on the exterior utilizing EIFS and elastomeric coating systems with the approval of the State of Texas Historic Commission. |
